SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota man has been sentenced to more than a year in prison for assaulting another person with a paring knife.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson announced last week that Loren Dog Eyes, 41, of Rosebud, was sentenced to 1 year and 9 months in custody and 1 year of supervised release for the March incident.
Dog Eyes pleaded guilty to the charge in June.
Dog Eyes was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal's Service.
