The site of the future Downtown Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center is set for its groundbreaking ceremony.
Hegg Companies, Inc. and Lloyd Companies, Inc. announced the groundbreaking ceremony is happening Wednesday, September 12 at the north end of Parking Level 1 of the CNA Building in downtown Sioux Falls.
The Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center is being built on the original Schoeneman's Building Center site downtown. The historic site is being demolished to create space for construction of a 6,000-square-feet, five-story, 136-unit, upscale hotel in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls.
According to a press release from Hegg Companies, Inc., the event space will accommodate up to 850 people.
