One Business Fails Liquor Sting

Wednesday night the Sioux Falls Police Department conducted a liquor sting on 21 businesses and one failed.

The clerk at The Gas Stop on 3312 S. Western Avenue was issued a ticket for selling alcohol to a minor.

Businesses making sales to underage persons may face fines, suspensions, or loss of their liquor or malt beverage licenses.

In an effort to protect the young people of our community, the Sioux Falls Police Department will continue to do random alcohol compliance checks of all off-sale establishments with the city limits.
