The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says an Iroquois man died in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday.
The accident happened just before 9:00 p.m. along 425th Avenue and 220th Street two miles north of Carthage, SD.
Curtis Wendel, 59, was driving a Jeep Cherokee that left the road on a curve. The vehicle rolled into the west ditch and Wendel received fatal injuries in the crash.
Clint Frankfurth, 27, of Huron was a passenger in the vehicle but was uninjured. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, but both remained in the vehicle.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety has not released any other information.
