Section of Phillips Ave. closed Friday afternoon

A Farmers' Market will cause part of Phillips Avenue to close Friday afternoon.

Friday afternoon Phillips Avenue will be closed between Sixth Street and Eighth Street. Traffic will be allowed to access businesses and parking between Seventh Street and Eighth Street, but no access will be allowed between Sixth Street and Seventh Street.

The Plain Green Conference will be hosting a farmers' market on Phillips Avenue in front of the Orpheum Theater. Phillips Avenue will open back up later Friday night.

You are urged to find alternate routes.
