The Southeastern South Dakota Chapter of Pax Christi wants to reclaim the site where a woman was killed in Sioux Falls on Tuesday.
The organization is organizing a prayer vigil for Amanda Connors starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Cost Cutters where Amanda was murdered this week.
According to a news release from the organization, the purpose of the vigil is to reclaim the site for nonviolence with a prayerful presence.
The organization says there will also be a prayer for the family of Tyrone Smith, the man accused in the killing who ultimately shot himself.
Pax Christi invites family, friends, neighbors and those committed to being a presence for peace and non-violence to take part in the service.
