Monday is an historical day as it is the 225th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution on September 17th, 1787.
The U.S. Census Bureau reports the U.S. population reached a little more than 314 million people on this Constitution Day.
In 1987, the census bureau estimated population was a bit more than 243 million.
And, the first census in 1790 recorded just under 4 million people-- quite a change in 225 years.
