South Dakota has one of the highest elderly populations in the nation. And as our population continues to age, the folks from the SDSU Extension Agency is making sure that they are aging healthy. Lavonne Meyer is an SDSU Food Safety Field Specialist. She stopped by the KSFY Morning Show to talk with Shawn and Nancy about how to make sure the older members of your family are eating healthy. She will be giving a presentation on simple food safety at the Aging Healthy Happy and Wise Conference. The conference is at the Salem Armory on Tuesday, October 2. The registration fee is $6.
