Mound City man dies in crash near Herreid

The SouthDakota Highway Patrol says a Mound City man died in a one-vehicle crash nearHerreid.

The crashwas reported at about 3:24 a.m. Saturday two miles south of Herreid.

HighwayPatrol says Bobby Vargo, 27, was driving south on U.S. Highway 83 when his DodgeRam traveled into the east shoulder, hit an approach and rolled. Vargo waswearing a seatbelt, but died in the crash.

No otherdetails have been release. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigation.
