Pedestrian hurt badly after being hit by a truck

Police say someone is seriously hurt after being hit by truck while crossing the street.

The incident happened on 40th and Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls. The person was hit around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

Police tell us that pedestrian is hurt pretty badly tonight.

We are hearing from viewers it might have been a senior citizen but police haven't confirmed that to us yet.

We will update you as soon as we get more information.
