The University of Sioux Falls moved to 4-0 on the season Saturday with a 21-5 home win over Bemidji State.
Led by a tremendous defense effort, a touchdown pass from quarterback Taylor Perkins and two field goals by kicker Braden Wieking, the Cougars picked up their third NSIC win in front of a packed house at Bob Young Field.
Despite trailing 5-0 at halftime, Jed Stugart's squad would respond with the final 21 points of the contest. The big play came early in the third quarter, when linebacker Eric Anderson intercepted BSU quarterback Alex Hess and returned it 28-yards for the touchdown to give USF their first and only lead of the game.
