SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say a former employee of a Sioux Falls bank has pleaded guilty to embezzling.
U.S. Attorney Brendon Johnson says 61-year-old Lona Mahon took about $23,000 from the bank over a two-year period.
She appeared in federal court last week in Sioux Falls and is free on bond. She faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
Sentencing is set for Dec.17.
