Rapid City police investigate shooting death

At 4:43 a.m. on Sept. 25, Rapid City police were called to 1121 Riley Court for a report of a shooting. Responding officers found a 21-year-old male on scene with three gunshot wounds; he died at the scene.

In addition, a 69-year-old male was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Rapid City Police Department and Pennington County Sheriff's Office are continuing to investigate, and anticipate releasing additional information later Tuesday.
