MOUNT RUSHMORE NATIONAL MEMORIAL, S.D. (AP) - The season's last lighting ceremony is being held at Mount Rushmore National Memorial on Sunday evening.
Starting in October, the sculpture will be lit at dusk for one hour nightly.
The Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center and Information Center on Monday will shift to its fall operating hours of 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MDT.
The sculptor's studio will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Oct. 14, and will then close until next year.
