Search under way for missing state prison inmate

A search is under way for a missing state prison inmate.

Inmate John He Crow failed to return to the Rapid City Minimum Unit from his work release job late this afternoon.

He Crow, age 51, is a Native American male. He is 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and wears glasses.

He Crow is serving a 6 year, 11 month sentence from Pennington County for Grand Theft.

Anyone who sees He Crow or knows of his whereabouts should contact law enforcement immediately.
