1. National Gas Prices Fall

The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded now stands at $3.78, according to AAA. That's down three cents from a week ago.

2. Fast and Furious: 57 Percent of Firearms Found at Crime Scenes

Fifty-seven previously undiscovered firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious were recovered in locations associated with murders and kidnappings. ABC News partner Univision News has obtained the list of weapons and a list of almost 60,000 recovered firearms gathered by Mexico's National Secretary of Defense. A cross-reference of the guns serial numbers found 96 full matches linked to Operation Fast and Furious.

3. Poll: Voters Think Obama Will Win

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that registered voters by 2-1 think President Obama will win the upcoming presidential debates and go on to win the November election. Registered voters by 63-31 percent expect Obama to win re-election, the president's widest advantage to date. The first debate is this Wednesday, October 3rd.

4. Congressional Aide Arrested After Alleged Lohan Assault

A part time Congressional aide was arrested early Sunday morning at the W Hotel in New York City after Lindsay Lohan claimed he assaulted her. Misdemeanor charges against Christian LaBella were later dropped.

5. 'Hotel Transylvania' Takes Top Spot at Box Office

Adam Sandler's monster movie "Hotel Transylvania" debuted at number one at the box office this weekend. The animated comedy brought in $43 million, one of the strongest kick-offs ever for a movie with a September opening.
