BRITTON, S.D. (AP) - The governor's Capital For a Day program heads to Britton on Wednesday.
The festivities begin with a coffee hour with Gov. Dennis Daugaard, a Main Street walk, tours and meetings around town.
Residents also are encouraged to attend an afternoon roundtable meeting in the gym from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for a discussion on financing to renovate the town sewer system.
First Lady Linda Daugaard will visit elementary school classes to read to continue her reading initiative.
