BRIDGET BENNETT - Reporter

Bridget Bennett joined the KSFY News team in September 2012. She began her career in journalism writing a weekly column for her hometown newspaper in Ellendale, ND.

Bridget graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. During her time in Texas, Bridget served as one of the first news directors of SMU-TV's daily broadcast, received an award from the Society of Professional Journalists and honed her skills as an intern with KTVT-CBS 11.

She is thrilled to be back in the Dakotas and closer to family. Bridget is married to her high school sweetheart who also grew up in Ellendale. She and Jason are the proud parents of two rescue dogs and are looking forward to making Sioux Falls their new home.
