The Roberts County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that they are investigating the death of 59-year-old Murray Michael Hill of Sisseton.
Hill's death was a result of an incident that occurred on October 2 in rural Roberts County.
Law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation are the Roberts County Sheriff's Office, the State Fire Marshall and the Division of Criminal Investigation.

At least one person is dead in connection with a grass fire north of Sisseton on Tuesday.
Sisseton Fire Chief Jeff Pageler told KWAT Radio the fire happened in a wooded area north of Sisseton near the Sisseton Wapheton Housing. Pagler said fire crews responded to the call shortly after 1:00 p.m. and the fire was extinguished shortly after 3:00 p.m. Two acres of woodland were burned.
Pageler told KWAT Radio no other fire departments were called to help, but a local farmer helped in the fire. Pageler said the farmer tilled up the land next to a standing corn field near the fire so the blaze wouldn't spread.
