(Sioux Falls) Morgan Brower is truly in her element on the tennis court.
"It's like you're in a box when you are out there. You concentrate on what you need to do and your opponent. And the people watching and the other matches aren't even there." says Brower.
She learned just how much the sport meant to her this past summer.
"I went with my family on vacation to Disney World. And I didn't play tennis for a whole week. It was odd but it also recharged me. But I realize how much it means to my life." says Brower
A year ago Brower won the top flight state singles title as a freshman. This year she has a 20-1 record going into state, and certainly the favorite to win it again.
"When she has her A-game, I can walk around and watch the other players. When she gets in trouble she'll listen and just needs to calm down." says O'Gorman tennis coach Don Barnes
"Its about having fun, and having good competition and playing well. It's not always about the win." says Brower
