Championships Are Set at State Soccer Tournament

    The first ever sanctioned high school state soccer tournament started Thursday in Aberdeen.  On the girls side, top-seed Aberdeen Central beat St. Thomas More 6-0, and O'Gorman downed Groton Area 3-0.  Aberdeen Central will play O'Gorman in the state championship on Friday night at six.

    On the boys side, top seed Sioux Falls Christian beat Aberdeen Central 1-0, while O'Gorman beat Groton Area 3-1.  The Chargers will meet O'Gorman for the boys state title on Friday at 8pm.
