MADISON, S.D. (AP) - People visiting the southeast South Dakota town of Madison are being greeted by about 600 pumpkins and a train.
Saturday marks the third annual Pumpkin Train at Prairie Village. Children and parents can ride the train to the pumpkin patch, pick out a pumpkin and participate in a variety of children's activities.
The cost is $5 per child age 12 or younger, proceeds from which will benefit the carousel restoration project. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
