For the second straight season, the Washington Warriors are Class A State Softball Champions.

Behind a tremendous offense and a stellar outing by pitcher Katie Johnson, the Warriors defeated the Mitchell Kernels, 9-0 to take home their second crown in as many years.

Johnson capped off her tremendous high school career with 13 strikeouts, while the Black and Orange got big offense performances from Kat Meredith and Emily Winckler among others.
