Senator Tim Johnson Meets with POET

The average price of a gallon of gas in south Dakota is 3.86... according to gas buddy-dot-com.

With gas prices so high, Senator Tim Johnson met with poet to discuss the importance on renewable fuel.

Senator Johnson says he's been voicing his opinion while in Washington, stressing how important renewable sources of energy are.

South Dakota isn't the only state paying more at the pump.

Gas is up to five dollars a gallon in California.
