U.S. Government sues Wells Fargo for fraud mortgage loans

The U.S. government is suing Wells Fargo over allegations of mortgage fraud.

It accuses the bank of making fraudulent home mortgage loans-- costing the government $190 million dollars.

The Federal Housing Administration says it had to pay insurance claims on defaulted loans that were falsely certified by Wells Fargo.

Wells Fargo has denied the allegations.
