The Sioux Falls Stampede are back home this weekend. Tonight they are facing off against the Indiana Ice. Matt Van Voorhis is in his second season with the Stampede. He stopped by the KSFY Morning News and talked with Nancy and Kory about his time with the team. Matt is a defenseman and is a native of Edina, MN and also has lived in Grand Forks. He has committed to play next season for the University of Denver.
The puck drops Friday at 7:05 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena. There will also be another home game on Saturday when they take on the Force from Fargo also at 7:05 p.m. And on Saturday the first 1,000 fans will get a free Stampede drawstring bag. You can get your tickets at the Sioux Falls Arena.
