The City of Sioux Falls is warning drivers about lane closure due to construction along Russell Street.
Starting Sunday October 14 the westbound lane of Russell Street between West Avenue and Western Avenue will be closed for construction of a sanitary sewer line. The westbound traffic on Russell Street will be detoured just north to Russell Street Frontage Road.
According to the City, drivers should expect traffic delays while the area is closed, and eastbound traffic is not expected to be affected by the closure. The construction is expected to be finished Friday October 19.
The following week eastbound Russell Street is expected to be closed from Sunday October 21 to Friday October 26.
