More than 800 voters have already cast their ballot for November's elections.
At this point in 2010, only 770 early votes had been cast.
88 absentee ballots have been mailed in as well this year. 38 were mailed in at this point in 2010.
The Brown County Auditor, Maxine Fischer believes the rise could be due to this being a national election year.
More than 25,000 people are registered to vote in Brown County and Fischer could see the number of early votes reaching as high as 5,000.
The individuals who were voting early told KSFY News they wanted to get voting out of the way while they had free time. The majority agreed voting was apart of their civic duty and they didn't want to miss the opportunity, if they had a busy November 6th.
Brown County Auditors Office is open 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday thru Friday and will be open Saturday, November 3rd for early voting.
