One person has died as the result of a traffic accident at E. 10th Street and Chapel Hill Road in Sioux Falls.
According to Sioux Falls Police, it appears that an eastbound vehicle made a left turn from 10th Street to Chapel Hill Road and was hit be a westbound vehicle.
The passenger of the turning vehicle was killed. Four other people from the two vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The name of the person who died in the crash has not been released, pending notification of family members.
Traffic services has closed down east bound traffic at 10th and Cleveland Avenue Tuesday evening. Vehicles will have to go north or south on Cleveland. Once their documentation of the scene is done in that area they will re-open east bound traffic.
