1. Former American Indian Movement activist dies at 72

Former American Indian Movement activist and actor Russell Means died early Monday morning at his home in Porcupine, South Dakota which is on the Pine Ridge Reservation.

2. Analysis: Combative Obama finds subdued Romney

President Barack Obama came ready Monday for a fighting finish, deriding Mitt Romney as reckless and overmatched in world affairs. Instead he found a subdued challenger who was eager to agree and determined to show he was not a warmonger.

3. Sioux Falls police search for suspect in Wells Fargo bank robbery

Sioux Falls Police responded to a robbery call Monday night at 6:47. It happened at Wells Fargo Bank at 500 West 41st Street.

4. TornadoTouches down in California

A tornado touched down about 40 miles outside of Sacramento, California on Monday, but only minor damage has been reported. A meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Sacramento says several other funnel clouds were reported by none of them touched down.

5. FDA Investigating heart attacks linked to energy drink

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says it is investigating reports of five deaths and a non-fatal heart attack linked to Monster Energy Drinks, a popular and highly caffeinated beverage. Monster says it does not believe its products are the cause of any deaths.
