Inmate, 80, dies at SD state prison

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - The state Department of Corrections says an inmate has died at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls.

Authorities say Delane Wantoch, 80, died Friday in a "comfort care setting" at the prison.

Wantoch was sentenced from Davison County in 2003 to 50 years in prison for criminal pedophilia.

An autopsy is being conducted.
