Hundreds of spectators braved the chilly weather to watch over 1,000 zombies stroll, lurch, and walk down Phillips Avenue in downtown Sioux Falls on Saturday.
After six years of zombie-exclusivity, this year the event added a parade to include businesses and anyone with a costume.
With the addition of the parade, the event has been renamed to the "Annual Boo Falls Halloween Parade and Zombie Walk."
A few recognizable zombies included Elvis, Mario and Luigi, a pair of Mr. Bendos, Abraham Lincoln, and a creeper costume from PC game Minecraft.
The money raised from the parade and zombie walk events will benefit the State Theatre in Sioux Falls.
