Teen receives serious injuries in Minnehaha County rollover

The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department is investigating a rollover accident.

The Sheriff's Department and South Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 4:10 Monday afternoon. It happened on 252nd Street, half a mile east of 468th Avenue.

A 17-year-old boy was driving east on 252nd Street when he lost control of his SUV on a gravel road and rolled the vehicle. He received serious injuries from being ejected from the vehicle.

The teen was the only person in the vehicle. He is being treated at a Sioux Falls hospital.
