Cliff Avenue in north Sioux Falls to reopen

Commuters from the north side of Sioux Falls are able to take their traditional route as construction wraps at a major intersection.

On Friday November 2, the City of Sioux Falls is opening the northbound lanes of Cliff Avenue from Benson road to North 60th Street. Both northbound and southbound driving lanes will be open to normal traffic.

According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation, there will be lane closures as need while crews continue to work on miscellaneous issues. The Department of Transportation urges drivers to use caution in the construction zone and be prepared for suddenly slowing and merging traffic.

The substantial completion date for the project is November 30.
