New this morning, just before midnight on Friday, Sioux Falls Police say a car went crashing into the back of the district office for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod on South Gateway Boulevard.
Right before the crash police say the driver also hit two parked cars. Police say a 73-year-old man was drunk behind the wheel and he also had a 77-year-old woman in the passenger seat. The passenger was taken to the hospital for a broken leg.
They don't know exactly how much damage was done to the building but at least one wall was severely damaged. The passenger will not face charges. The driver will most likely face charges.
