A standoff involving Sioux Falls police Thursday was the result of an attempt to serve a search warrant.
The standoff happened at 6107 West 43rd Avenue in Sioux Falls. Police were initially there to serve a narcotics warrant. However, SWAT was called to secure the area because of information that weapons may have been present inside the home.
Police found cocaine during the search and arrested Irma Bass, 46, of Sioux Falls for possession of a controlled substance.
While Bass was the only one arrested at the time, Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said it is likely there will be more arrests out of the incident.
