WACO, TEX.(Nov. 5, 2012)– BODY {scrollbar-base-color:undefined;scrollbar-highlight-color:undefined;scrollbar-darkshadow-color:undefined;scrollbar-track-color:undefined;scrollbar-arrow-color:undefined} The University of Sioux Falls (8-2, 8-2 NSIC, 4-2 NSIC South) is ranked No. 22 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) DII poll. Receiving 123 votes Monday, the Cougars enjoy their fourth straight week in the polls.

The 22nd-ranked Cougars slipped five spots after falling on the road to sixth-ranked Minnesota State, Mankato by a score of 27-13.

USF is one of three NSIC members currently ranked in the poll. Minnesota State, Mankato (10-0) maintained their No. 6 standing (590 points) after defeating USF on Saturday. Minnesota-Duluth (9-1) slipped from No. 9 to No. 10, following a 53-14 victory against the University of Mary.

The Cougars will close out the regular season at home on Saturday against Wayne State (6-4, 6-4 NSIC). Kick-off is scheduled for noon.
