KSFY News is looking for a full-time multimedia reporter.  We want someone who can connect with the community, understand quality storytelling and is able to gather their own content.  The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work under a deadline.

You will be responsible for shooting, writing, voicing and editing stories for television and internet.  Live reports will also be expected.  You should also be skilled in social media and online news production.  Time management skills are a must. 

The ideal candidate must be able to work odd hours to complete assigned stories and cover breaking news.  You must be able to carry 35 to 45 pounds of equipment.  A valid driver's license as well as a safe driving record is necessary.

This person reports directly to the news director.

Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field of study required.
