New on Monday morning, the Casey's General store on South Sycamore Ave. was robbed at knife point Sunday night.
Officers arrived on scene at about 10:45p.m. The clerk said a man entered the store waving a large butcher knife at the clerk and the cash register. The clerk took out the drawer and put it on the counter. The suspect shoved it into a black back pack and then ran off.
The suspect is described as a black male about 6'0'' to 6'2'' and between 160 and175 pounds.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark navy blue sweat shirt, black jeans, and black shoes. He also was wearing a white canvas belt, white gloves, and had a red cloth covering the lower part of his face.
The robbery is still under investigation.
