Veterans Day was officially Sunday, November 11. However, many people, schools—and restaurants—are honoring veterans on Monday. Here is a look at some of the deals around the area thanking the people who fought for freedom:

Denny's: all-you-can-eat pancakes to veterans on Nov. 12.
Champps Americana Restaurant: Free cheeseburger and fries on Nov. 12.
Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin' Onion appetizer and drink on Nov. 12.
Red Robin: Free Red's Tavern Double and Bottomless Steak Fries for all Red Robin guests with a military ID or proof of service on Monday, Nov. 12. Red Robin will also donate $10,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Texas Roadhouse: free lunch, Monday Nov. 12. Choose from one of 10 free meals, plus sides and a drink. Offer is good for all veterans – including all active, retired or former U.S. military. ID Required.
Lone Star Steakhouse: Free entrée from the Stars & Stripes Menu. ID required, please call ahead for verification.
