Officials in the Augustana College Athletic Department confirm with KSFY News that head football coach Mike Aldrich will not be back next season.

Alrdrich spent eight years as an assistant coach at Augie. He took the helm three years ago, making a playoff appearance that first year. However, the Vikings football team has struggled in the past two years. The team went 5-6 overall this past season.

No one else at Augustana College was available for comment. The school is expected to issue a news release later Tuesday.
