The City of Sioux Falls may be relieving changeless drivers' of the anxiety associated with risking a parking ticket downtown.
Wednesday the City announced it is permanently installing 185 smart parking meters capable charging your debit or credit card, along with accepting traditional tokens and coins.
The meters will be placed in the heart of downtown on the 100, 200, 300, and 400 blocks of South Phillips Avenue. The meters will also be on the east and west 100 blocks of 10th Street and 11th Street and the east side of 200 South Main Avenue.
Installation is scheduled for the week of December 3.
