Hurricane Sandy's damaged has been long lasting.
Not only are people still without power, but more than 250,000 vehicles were damaged by the storm.
People in the Midwest could also see effects of so many cars being out of commission.
Eric Myers, with Harr Motors believes the price of used cars could rise, even for us in South Dakota.
"We should see the used car market come up pretty good," Myers said. "When you take that many cars out of the market, yeah, we will see some increase."
Many are concerned that those damaged vehicles could make their way to our streets as well.
"I would be sure to check CarFax," Myers warned. "Normally they show where the car was titled, so you see if it was out on the coast."
Myers, does not believe many dealerships do business with cars in the east, but we can never be too careful.
