Posted: Updated:

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Two Rapid City area men have pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing property from the South Dakota National Guard.

Dennis Mallow and Damon Bohnet made the plea during an appearance in U.S. District Court Wednesday. They are charged with the theft of government property and theft from an agency receiving federal funds. The two men were released on bond.

The men are accused of conspiring to convert federal property to their own use over a three-year period between October 2009 and Sep. 7, 2012.

A trial has been scheduled for Jan. 29.
