Love it or hate it, it's a safe bet a lot of you went shopping today and fought the crowds to get as many deals as possible.
But...have you ever thought what it's like for the store employees who have to work today? do they love it or hate it?
We thought we would try to find out....
Long lines, shoppers on a mission...some of them sleep deprived...some of them probably also a little cranky.
But for some who work on black Friday....it is the most wonderful time of the year...
Lynn Otis is a store manager at the Sioux Falls' Macy's. She is a black Friday veterans and tells us, some see black Friday as a team sport....as something that has to be done....but some also see it as a way to bond their loved ones...
Down the way at old navy, we asked salesperson Jessica Jastram the very loaded question of how the customers have been today....
Jessica says today has been a blast....busy....but a blast.
She swears she is in a good mood and so is everyone else....because with as hectic as life can be, we are entering a magical time of year....
While black Friday is kind of the official start of the holiday season, Lynn Otis and Macy's gives us the impression that black Friday is...in itself...a holiday.
