No one hurt in early morning apartment fire in Sioux Falls

Posted: Updated:

New this morning. Just before 5:00 a.m. a fire broke out in a Sioux Falls apartment. It was just off of 41st street in Sioux Falls at 3505 South West Ave.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue crews tell us when they arrived they found a fire burning in one of the rear basement apartments.

They believe two people were inside the apartment when the fire started. People living in the building say that there are 8 apartments in the building. Everyone got out safely. Many people living there had to sit in their cars because it was so cold out. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue believe that the people will be able to get into their homes later today. The cause is under investigation.
