Homicide investigation underway near Marty

An officer with the Wagner Police Department confirms with KSFY News a homicide occurred in Marty and it is being investigated by the Yankton Sioux Tribe.

The Charles Mix County Sheriff's office would not confirm a homicide occurred, but it did say an investigation is underway in Marty.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs was not able to confirm any information.
