White Christmas is playing on the Washington Pavilion's 60 foot screen. Miracle on 34th Street and Home Alone will soon follow. The classics are new to the Cinedome.
"We're hoping this is a whole brand new venture for us. I would say the appropriate analogy is that we have our training wheels on right now," said Michelle Wellman, the Pavilion's Director of Marketing and Communications.
The holiday movies will supplement the Cinedome's science films. Tickets are five dollars for adults and three dollars for kids twelve-and-under.
"This just seemed like the perfect time to introduce people if they haven't been to the Cinedome films to our new screen and our new technology, the 4KHD, which is so impressive," said Wellman.
For schedule information to the holiday movies call the Pavilion box office at 605-367-6000 or go to www.washingtonpavilion.org.
