This warm weather has many people ready for a 4th of July cookout, as opposed to having Santa Claus come down their chimney.
That warmth is not putting a damper on one man's Christmas cheer, though.
Cary Bruckner has been putting up Christmas lights on his family farm for years, and this year he may have outdone himself.
"I started this in September," Cary said. "Seeing the finished project is worth it."
Cary has strung up an astounding 33,215 lights this holiday season, and used more than a half mile of extension cord.
"I put more and more up each year," Cary told KSFY News. "It is something I really like to do."
Cary is not the only one who enjoys the finished project.
Julie Bruckner, Cary's mother also gets in the holiday spirit with the lights.
"I think the whole area likes it." Julie said. "Cary works hard at it and he has more patience than anybody I know."
The Bruckner family farm is located south of Groton in Conde and Cary plans to leave the lights up through the Christmas season.
