Wednesday night a window at Lang's Audio, TV, & Appliance on 6th Avenue was shot with what Aberdeen Police believe to be a BB gun or an air rifle.
Gary Swanson, a salesman at Lang's was confused when he first saw the bullet hole at the store, Thursday morning.
"My initial reaction was, why would anybody do this," Swanson said. "What's the purpose?"
Five vehicles on the 1700th and 1800th block of South Lincoln and Marshall Road had damaged windows as well from what police say was the same weapon.
This past summer two businesses in downtown Aberdeen had damage caused by a BB gun or air rifle as well.
The Aberdeen Police Department has not confirmed if there is any coloration between these three crimes.
The police department is asking us to call the dispatch office (605-626-7911) or Aberdeen Crime Stoppers (605-626-3500) with any tips.
